Securitized Asset Investors

The Mortgage and Securitization Council is made of portfolio managers, research analyst, and operations professionals whose practice involves securitization of assets.  The Council has primarily focused on issues such as advocating for a fiduciary standard for trustees; protecting investors from the use of eminent domain to seize underwater mortgages; representing the interests of the investor in settlements with mortgages; jumpstarting the private label market; advocating for assignee liability and representing investors in the commercial mortgage backed securities market. The Mortgage and Securitization Council has testified before Congress; met with policymakers and provided leadership on issues critical to the investor community.
