Week InAdvance: April 27, 2015

Top financial regulators and U.S. lawmakers will cross paths with an army of small-town lenders this week as members of the Independent Community Bankers of America come to town to lobby Congress for regulatory breaks Tuesday through Thursday. The bankers will be addressed by regulators, including chiefs of the FDIC, the OCC, the CFPB, and the FHFA. They will also hear from the regulator some view as the "alpha dog" on banking issues, Fed Governor Daniel Tarullo.
